Vera Futorjanski

CEO & Founder of Veritas Ventures

Vera has previously founded a startup for Rocket Internet in the UAE, worked for the Dubai Government on various innovation projects, and managed the MENA region and Russia for the most active VC firm in the world (500 Startups). She is part of the Expert Group on Digital Platforms and Ecosystems for the World Economic Forum, an Innovation Expert at the UN, a Responsible Leader at the BMW Foundation, and a Global Ambassador at Vital Voices. Previously she ran the global communications for Rocket Internet during the IPO, and has been in charge of Global Communications for the Dubai Future Foundation. In her first career she was a professional Argentine Tango dancer, followed by Political Science studies at the London School of Economics and a few years as a consultant in the European Union.
Vera also sits on various boards, mentors at international accelerators across the world, and is a regular speaker and moderator at global events.
